Yes. I'm sure many of you now know that Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, has passed away.

I found out about that right here, on DA. I was busy checking my inbox when I saw a message from on my drawing of Michael [link] . She asked me if I'd heard the news and if I was okay. I'd immediately got this really bad feeling in my gut. The only thing running through my mind was, "Oh no... don't say he's..."

I'd immediately opened CNN's site, only to be greeted with a smiling picture of Michael with the words 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson is Dead.

I just sat there, staring at the screen for a whole minute, trying to digest the information. I mean, we all knew his health was really fragile, but subconsciously, I believed that he was that kind of person that couldn't die. So the news still felt like a huge blow.

I grew up listening to Michael's music, always admiring his unique voice and inspiring songs. When he came to perform at Kuala Lumpur, I was but a child. I could hardly believe that Michael Jackson was actually here, on the soil of my country! Of course I couldn't afford a ticket to his performance, but I still remember sitting in front of the TV, watching the live broadcast with the rest of my family.

When I watched You Are Not Alone, I really couldn't help it. I just broke down and cried. We've lost such an incredible person who has contributed so much to the musical field.

But I know Michael will never truly die. He will always live on in his wonderful music and in the hearts of his loyal and loving fans.
